Olina’s Bakehouse export manager, Ian Pascoe, explains how the brand is making waves in the UK snacking sector
Australian-based brand Olina’s Bakehouse offers a range of Toasts, Flatbreads and Crackers to suit any snacking occasion. Market leaders in other global markets, including the US, the brand recently introduced itself to the UK and aims to continue growing and innovating in this sector.
The selection of products consist of light-textured Wafer Crackers in four varieties, five different hand baked Seeded Toasts plus the latest offering, Seeded Flatbreads, which are made with a combination of pumpkin, sesame and flax seeds. All are versatile and ideal for a whole host of snacking occasions, from dipping to being used as a base for toppings. Flavours include Cashew & Rosemary, Fig & Almond and Cracked Pepper. Brand export manager, Ian Pascoe, explains, “Olinas’ Bakehouse is leading the way in innovative snack products for the UK market – our Toasts, Flatbreads and Crackers are a perfect fit for the snacking sector. Our Double-Baked Toasts are made using real fruit and seeds and can be eaten alone as a lunchtime snack or paired with dips, cheese, smoked fish and meats.”

The brand has also introduced gluten-free versions of its products, for a delicious and healthy alternative to bread. Ian adds, “As the demand for more innovative ‘Free From’ products grows we are introducing more gluten-free and vegan-friendly products to meet the demand. Olina’s Bakehouse is committed to building the brand through the specialty retail sector – we are working with a network of distributors and have a full marketing program to support retail sales and consumer awareness.”
